Winery Profile:

Bodegas Paso Robles is dedicated to producing wines using Spanish and Portuguese varietals. We take old world vines and make new world wines of the highest quality with the least invasive winemaking practices. Our grapes, although grown in California, are native to Spain and Portugal and have been used for centuries in Iberian winemaking. All our wines are hand-crafted and aged in premium French and American barrels.

One of the first questions we’re usually asked by a new customer in the Tasting Room is “Why Spanish grapes?”  Dorothy Schuler, our winemaker and owner, has a simple response.  “Because no one else in Paso Robles was making wine with these grapes.”
